Is there really no monthly fee? Ever?
Never. Store up to 128 GB locally on a micro TF card (sold separately). Cloud storage exists if you want off-site backup, but it is entirely optional — the local card gives you the exact same functionality. Included forever: 4MP QHD video, 360° pan and tilt, smart human tracking, motion alerts, night vision, two-way talk, one-touch video calls, privacy mode and app access. Ring charges $4.95 a month for video history and smart alerts. Wyze charges $1.99 for person detection. Over five years that is $297 and $119 respectively — per camera.
What is included in the price?
$119 includes the camera, power cable and USB adapter, wall bracket, screws and anchors, the free KeldCo app for life, Alexa and Google Home integration, a 12-month Australian warranty, a 30-day money-back guarantee, Australian-based support and free shipping. Not included: a micro TF card, if you want to save recordings rather than just watch live.
Do I need to buy anything else for it to work?
Only Wi-Fi and a phone. Everything else is in the box. Without a TF card you can still view live and get alerts — you just won’t have recordings to go back to. We would put a card in it.
Setup & placement
How long does setup actually take?
Under two minutes. Plug into a power point, connect to the KeldCo app, point it at the room. Add two or three minutes if you are wall-mounting. No electrician, no QR-code gymnastics, no configuration.
I’m renting — can I use this without damaging anything?
Yes, and it is one of the better cameras for it. Sit it on a shelf, a TV unit, a bookcase or a bedside table and plug it in. Nothing drilled, nothing adhered, nothing to explain at a bond inspection. It is fully portable — move it room to room, or take it with you when you go.
Where should I put it?
Somewhere it can see the entry points and the main part of the room, within Wi-Fi range and near a power point — the cable is 2 m. Because it pans 360°, one camera usually covers a whole room from a single position. Higher is generally better.
Does it need to stay plugged in?
Yes. It runs on mains power, which is what makes continuous 24/7 recording possible and means you never think about charging it.

How much better is 4MP than 1080p, really?
2.4× the pixels. In practice: you can recognise a face across a room, read text on a package, and digitally zoom without the image dissolving. Ring Indoor Cam, Wyze Cam v3 and TP-Link Tapo are 1080p or 2K. This is 2560 × 1440.
How much storage do I need?
Motion-only: a 128 GB card holds roughly one to two months of typical home use. 64 GB, two to four weeks. Continuous 24/7: a 128 GB card holds roughly four to seven days. When the card fills, the camera records over the oldest footage. You can download clips to your phone to keep them permanently. Maximum supported card size is 128 GB.
Does it record all the time, or only on motion?
Your choice, switchable in the app at any time. Motion-only saves space and makes events easy to find; continuous records everything and fills the card faster.

How does the 360° pan and tilt work?
The head rotates a full 360° and tilts vertically. You can swipe to drive it manually, let smart tracking follow people automatically, or save preset positions and jump between them.
How does human tracking work?
When motion is detected the camera works out whether it is a person, and if so pans and tilts to keep them in frame until they leave the room. You get the whole event, not the moment they crossed the doorway. It can be switched off. It tracks people, not pets or objects.
What exactly does privacy mode do?
One tap in the app and the lens rotates to face away from the room. Recording stops. Because it is physical, you can see at a glance that the camera is not watching — which is the point.
Can other people in the house use it?
Yes. Share the camera with as many phones as you like from the app, and everyone gets the alerts. It also works with Alexa and Google Home.
