All Your Questions Answered
How does the solar power feature work on the camera?
The camera is equipped with a solar panel that charges the cameras batteries using sunlight. This eco-friendly feature ensures that the camera remains operational, storing excess energy in its battery for continuous use.
Can I store footage locally or on the cloud?
The camera supports local storage with a Micro TF storage card of up to 128GB. This allows for substantial video storage directly on the device. The camera will start to record over itself when it reaches capacity. Cloud storage options are also available if you prefer remote storage solutions.
Are there any post-purchase ongoing subscriptions?
For absolutely zero ongoing costs, you can opt to purchase a micro TF storage card from our store rather than subscribing to a cloud storage service. Please note: you will need 1 Micro TF Card per camera. You will have full functionality of the camera and app
If you decide you want to store your pictures and videos online, you have the option of subscribing to cloud storage. Your first month is free, and then it's $5/month after that.
Does each camera need it's own sim card?
Yes each camera requires its own sim card to get access to the internet.
What happens if there's not enough sunlight for several days?
Our camera's battery can last up to 45 days dependng on how much its triggered without additional solar charging, ensuring reliable performance even during prolonged periods of low sunlight.
Which app does the camera use?
Our very own KeldCo App. It's a free app that can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
How many cameras can you connect to the app?
You can connect 100+ cameras to the app at once, and up to 8 phones can connect to the one camera, so that everyone in your family or business can see the live feed and get notifications from the camera(s).
Is the camera weather-resistant?
Yes, the camera is IP66 weatherproof to withstand various weather conditions, making it perfectly suitable for outdoor use in rain, snow, dust or extreme temperatures.
How does the camera connect?
The wifi version connects to your home wifi and transmits data directly to the app on your phone. For the 4g version the camera uses a sim card (not provided) and transmits the data directly to the app on your phone for viewing
Will the camera work if there is no connection?
Yes! The camera will work even without a connection if you have a micro TF Card installed. It stores all of the images it captures on the micro TF Card, so you can access them later even if there's no internet connection. Howver if you only have cloud it will not store footage as it won't be able to connect to the server
Does the camera have night vision capabilities?
Yes, it features advanced full colour night vision technology along with infra red night vision, providing clear and detailed footage even in low-light conditions.
What is the length of the cable between the camera and the solar panel?

Very happy with my cameras, they are very sensitive to movement and follw the objects be human or pet perfectly,
Easy installation under corner of carport, to cover driveway access and main entrance. Works well!
These cameras are excellent and easy to connect! Highly recommend them! I’ve already got some more!!
Absolutely love my Keldco 3.0 cameras! Purchased 2 cameras one for front of house and one for side which covers rear garage door entry. Crystal clear and very responsive in tracking mode. Great customer service with a phone call from Keldco a week after purchasing to make sure product arrived, installation was easy and that the app was installed, up and running. Couldn’t be happier. Kind regards David and Wendy
very easy to install. same on the iPhone. and it's great to see exactly what's going on at home when you're not there. Very impressed so far.
Great product easy to install does everything we need watches over our property while we are at work
Relatively easy to install with help from Hazel from the help desk. Initially seemed too motion sensitive to breezes etc, but again Hazel helped me with adjustments in the app. All good now. Good product that Nuffies like me can install at an excellent price (+128 SD) Happy client.
I've purchased a few security cameras now that say they're wireless only to find they have to be plugged in 24/7 to work properly but not with Keldco 👏 I am a woman on my own and managed to install my camera and set it up within an hour. No cords to plug into walls and no monthly subscriptions to keep my home safe just my Wifi, I can see clearly who's in view and I've even caught a few critters at night with the night vision setting. I just love this product, highly recommend it to everyone that wants clear, easy security and will be purchasing more cameras in the future. Australian owned and operated is always a definite buy for me, thank you so much 🩷
So easy to setup & great quality video content making it easy to recognise people who come within range, highly recommend
I don’t know my way around tools so had my device installed by an electrician. He was impressed by the quality of the camera. It looks good - sometimes just the visibility of a camera is a deterrent. Recommended
Been very good so far, very happy with them.
Works as it should considering the price.
Very happy with the solar cam 3.0 pro The auto tracking feature is great. Purchased 2 of these and can’t fault them so far. Happy customer
Great product , easy set up and great easy features. Highly recommend this camera.
My new KeldCo Solar cam Pro 3 is a great investment, no on going cost along with the free app which is also easy to use. Recommend these products to anyone that wants a good quality product and wants to get away from those nasty subscriptions! I also have a new KeldCo doormate on the way!
The Keldco Solar Powered Perimeter Kit package was very easy to install and has great coverage from the front door and surrounds. Very happy with this product and support service from the Keldco team. Thankyou.
Very happy with the first 2 that I bought and I’ve already ordered and received my next 2 but haven’t installed them yet.
Thanks for your worthwhile & easy to use product- very much appreciated!
We are so impressed with Keldco Security cameras. They are so easy to install...and purchasing gutter clamps enabled our Keldco solar panels a better exposure to the sun's rays without the need for tall ladders to install the supplied solar panel mounts.
They said it was easy to install - And it really was easy, 10 minutes! And they said it was easy to set up - And it definitely was, 10 minutes! And when I had some queries, the help desk was very responsive and helpful. I can't fault the product or service.
Great product, easy installation,
Works well for me great acquisition!!
Love the clarity and ability to follow movement. Solar charges to 100% every day. A bus just came along in front of house, the camera followed it, then returned to its original position. Wish the daughter wouldn’t leave the front gates open all day.
Really worth every penny as we use it daily and does exactly what we require it for.
Awesome clear already help us identify a person of interest
I decided to go with Keldco because they are Australian made and don't force you into a subscription. This little card does that for me. I am so happy after a little hiccup getting started. Keldco were straight onto it following up and helping me get it all set up. If I can do it anyone can. There is also plenty of help on YouTube.
No one said anything about needing WiFi and I live in a black hole where I have no internet.
Super easy to install and the app is great. Works Way better than I expected.
A great little camera, set-up has been a bit finicky, especially detecting people at night, but still working through trouble shooting. It's been great being able to keep an eye on the property no matter where I am and no matter the time. The solar panel has been keeping the camera nicely charged so no worries about running out of battery.
Very clear
Very happy. Need to get another one for the other corner of the house so it captures both entries
Motion tracking Just works great.
As described . Easy to install. Good video quality. Good notifications.
2 of 3 are great just one having issue camera not charging from panel charges from main socket works well other 2 great n recommend them. Exellent
Thank you so much for all the help the cameras and doorbell way out perform my previous security system
Great coverage and easy set-up. Multiple functions and schedules in the app. Thanks
Hi guys Great Camera's and eco system. All working well love the degree of viewing. And auto tracking. Any chance of making room the 1st screen that comes up with all cameras shown on the 1st screen in the app when viewing in stead of searching for all in 1 access. With all cams in one place. Thanks very much Other than that Great job. Keep up the good work.
Really impressed with our two Keldco Solar Pro 3.0 WIFI cameras. Easy to order, next day delivery, excellent after sales service, really simple and easy to install, fabulous app and easy connection to out home WiFi, producing clear, high quality images and video of any movements around our property.
After a lot of research, we came across Keldco and were impressed by what their cameras offered. We specifically wanted Wi-Fi cameras, so we purchased a Wi-Fi extender from another company and three Keldco cameras. We were amazed at how easy the cameras were to connect to our Wi-Fi. They were up and running with very little effort and have worked brilliantly ever since. We installed them around our property before heading overseas for two weeks, and they gave us such great peace of mind while we were away. I was able to check on our horses in real time, making sure they were safe, had plenty of feed and water, and that everything was as it should be. The picture quality is excellent, the motion detection is very responsive, and the cameras are incredibly easy to use. They are also very reasonably priced and arrived surprisingly quickly after we placed our online order. We couldn't be happier with our Keldco cameras and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality cameras for their home, property or farm. They have certainly given us tremendous peace of mind while we've been away.
